The World Council of Churches, in its ‘Greedline’ report, says ‘people often fail to recognise the structural connections between their desire to improve their living standards and the poverty suffered by their neighbours’ but … together we can create an ‘economy of enough’.

Our Poverty Simulation brought new insights recently to local high school students: **'Being in poverty is so much more than not having enough money.' ** 'How I viewed it has radically changed.' ** 'We don't work as hard as they do.' ** 'They might be one of the most talented people in the world but the situation doesn't allow you to get out of it.' And for the teacher: ** 'It met my learning objectives ... it's the ah-ha moment (that every teacher is looking for) that happened today.'
